Twas the night of Barley's alcohol poisoning scandal. When cheap vodka turned her stomach inside out. I was posted up in the bathroom while she was face-deep in the toilet bowl, worshipping the porcelain god. A beat started hammering in my skull like a hangover come early. Down the hall, Valentino was cooking up tracks with some backstabber we used to know, their fingers dancing over buttons like they owned the place.
When Barley finally came up for air, looking like death warmed over, I made sure she wasn't going to choke on her own vomit and left her to figure her shit out. I bolted down the hall and had some choice words with Valentino that I'm keeping redacted. That snake we used to know tried to sink their fangs into our project, but I stood my ground like a brick wall and built the track that would make history.
The spark that lit this fire came during a tipsy balcony session with Valentino, splitting a massive bottle of cheap red while the city buzzed below. The lyrics started flowing as I told him about getting high as a kite the week before. The Snowmobile - a chrome beast that ate up the night like a hungry wolf - and the Land of Hope - a neon dreamscape where anything felt possible - these weren't just memories or art anymore. They became something bigger, something for everyone to grab onto and make their own.
